.22 Amt
I bought a .22 AMT 2 1/2 years ago and it will not cycle. 85% of the time it leaves the case in the chamber with the hammer back. Most of the time I can cycle it by hand and it then ejects the case and only once in a great while will I have to pick the case out. I am only using Winchester Super X as I did on my first AMT ( it worked flawlessly ) but this one is currently crap. It was used when I bought it off a well known internet site and did not come as advertised and I didn't check it out right away. Therefore I own it, unfortunately. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be the problem? I have cleaned it so much that it should be a .25 calibre by now and High Standard in Houston is incapable of repairing it and/or crippled by the english language and cannot explain what they did or why it supposedly worked for them. I was told I would have to use a 'locked' wrist and elbow shooting technique ( ???? ) and they could not or would not explain that statement either. A vise will not fit in my holster ! I was also told my clip might need to be adjusted ???
