Added another one to the fold
It's a Winchester Model 97 and based on the serial number was built in 1945. I thought one of the cool features was that it was stamped by the Salt Lake Police dept. It is the tightest Model 97 I have ever felt and is in pretty nice shape overall.

That is in really nice shape for an ex-cop gun! It must not have been mounted in a cruiser, it probably sat in a locker at the station.
I have an ex-PA DNR Remington 870 and it looks very "used".

Nice model 97, the police stamp makes it even better.
