looks like PA allows you to own a class 3, pay the money, get the license, pay a gun dealer a WHOLE LOT of money. and take it home...

Know that class 3 is a Federal license......not a State license........it may be used in defense of you owning a fully automatic weapon, but they can still mess with you......I went through this is TX many years ago.

Class 3 is a license to sell.

The law is confusing, but I am pretty sure you cannot possess one in Pa. Here is the law from a website:

http://www.nraila.org/statelawpdfs/PASL.pdf

On one hand they say you may not posses it without complying with the NFA ( no kidding? ) but before that they define any NFA act weapon an "offensive weapon"
