AR lowers in big demand.

If you live in California and are looking for AR lower receivers you are going to be paying a premium.

From what I've read on the internet the prices have shot up to close to $300 bucks for a stripped lower.

I'm reading lots of complaints/whinning about the prices.

I've also read that the manufactures are running at full production to meet the demand.

I believe Commifornia allows ARs (EBRs) equiped with a MagLock devce that prevents easy removal of the magazine from the receiver.

I suuuure am glad I live in Virginia.

Shovelhead you are correct. You can also configure it in such a way that it doesn't have a pistol grip, fixed stock, no bayonet lug or flash hider and use drop mags. If you have had over 10 round mags pre y2k you may use them also.

I just ordered another Tactical Innovations lower for $155. A month ago I paid $113. I'll have it today or tomorrow. LPK's are hard to get though. I have one on order and they are saying 4 weeks. I'll have mine by the end of this month. Once the craze is over I think things will get back to normal. I hope.

Just called on some uppers.
Model 1 uppers and kits are backordered 12-16 weeks.
Del-Ton uppers are back ordered 14 weeks.
M&A took uppers and kits right off their web pace so I didn't bother to call.

We ordered several complete upper/lower kits a few weeks ago from M&A. I hope it went through......

Lots of stuff on back order here from the suppliers we use. There could be more out there but we are limited from who we can buy from but they are the big distributers.

This sounds like I work at a gun shop I don't any more but I am posting this on their computer.
