He spoke during a visit to the city of Semnan, 125 miles east of the capital Tehran, where Iran's space program is centered.
The announcement comes less than a month before Iran's presidential election *and just two days after President Obama declared a readiness to seek deeper international sanctions against Tehran *if it did not respond positively to U.S. attempts to open negotiations on its nuclear program.

SOOOO, in response to Obama's "readiness to seek deeper international sanctions against Iran" AND "positive response to his outreach" Obama gets a MISSLE shot off in his FACE!! I don't know, BUT I think THAT pretty much sums it up for ME about how all-mad-in-the-head and IRAN feel about the Obama and the REST of the world!!
I think Obama's "achilles heel" here is his LACK of any REAL faith!! He is most likely NOT a Christian NOR even a faithful muslim!! SO he DOESN'T understand or can a grip on the determination of people who have real faith!! This will be his downfall when he comes up against people who would give up their very life for what they believe, NO matter what the consequences. He JUST DOESN'T get IT!!
