I am looking at 1" rise with 1" rings. I am not familiar with mounting a scope on an AR. My concern is lack of adjustablity to get it bore sighted and leveled without using a lot of scope adjustment. Putting on a Burris 6.5x20 50mm with 1" tube.
Anyone know of rings that will allow adjustments of the rings to get as close as possible?

blackhawk has risers so you can raise the rail height and use more standard sized rings.

No concerns at all just put on a good scope with good rings and you're good to go. If you need more eye relief then you will need an extended rail on top of the flat top or buy a La Rue SPR-E mount.
I'm assuming you are using a flat top reciever.

I just reread your post. I'd look hard at a different scope.
