Anybody familiar with or use gunsmoke enterprises milled recievers? Still shopping, having been leaning towards DPMS til now.

Unless you buy a JP or one of the other hybrid lowers they pretty much are all the same. Pick the one with the best logo and you're good to go.

Looking closer they do seem to be standard stampings. Initially they sounded milled not forged.

I paid more because they were forged maybe they were maybe they weren't. I can't tell. Mine were an off brand and I've got no complaints. I've been shooting one of them since the 90's and not a problem. The lower just doesn't take much of a beating. My uppers still fit tight my trigger pins are still tight.

Got it yesterday. CAA modular grip on the way if pay-pal doesn't get wind of it. DPMS lower parts on the way too.

I have several RRA receivers. One of the best around.

Any of you know anything about Tactical Innovations? I have a Stag but I just get cheesed out looking at the silly logo. I'm throwing it under an LMT 10.5" upper so I want it to look just as cool.:)
