bought a Kahr cw40

not real sure about Kahrs anymore lol. Cleaned mine the day I got it and took it to the range it only fires one round at a time!!!! supposibly I bent the slid lock spring and it is a common thing when field stripping it . Im gonna go back where I bought it today and hope it can be fixed soon. im gonna try to get pictures up soon its a nice little gun.

Don't feel bad. I've done the same thing on two different Kahrs. Fortunately I caught it on the second one before it required a new spring, but it is very easy to do, especially if you try to strip it like a 1911 or a Hi-Power. That little quirk aside, I really like the guns, and will probably be adding a 45 to the safe in the future.

well the dealer had no clue so after hours of trying to figure it out on my own I watched the video on kahrs website.... ANY ONE WHO BUYS A KAHR DO NOT DO IT THE WAY THE MANEUL SAYS WATCH THE VIDEO!!!!!! it has alot more details and tells you about the spring and to actully watch it. havent had a chance to shoot it again but its a nice little gun I love it
