There is one on DTR why cant there be one on here? At the very least it might get people talking and traveling over to this site a little more often...
Its 20 to 1 and storming outside here, kind of a boring night so im going to go to bed and ill check this in the AM see if we have any early birds that chime in... night ya'll!
p.s. now when you click "new posts" something comes up!! im sleepy and little things are starting to entertain me, can you tell?

Breakroom huh?? Sounds good to me.. I'll get the first pot of coffee going.. This coffee will be drinkable unlike that other stuff.
Thinking about taking the little one to Bass Pro today. Need to get some stuff ready for this weekend's opening day (bow)

altho, I think the weekly thread here needs to be something besides the breakroom.
perhaps something a bit more gun, shooting, or reloading related?

yea, but gun oil doesn't make a good flavoring for coffee...

Ill throw out the suggestion of "The basement" . not over partial to it. just seems the basement is where alot of the reloading stuff gets moved to.

I dont mind a mocha now and then.
really starting to like the mega mocha that the local coffee shop has. they double the amount of espresso and add a shot of caffeinated syrup. Itll get you moving....

Never had a ph00.. The only coffee I've ever drank is straight up black. Not that I wouldn't try it, I wouldn't even know how to order it:D

espresso is a shot glass of very strong coffee. Alot of people think it tastes like burnt coffee. This is also the basis for alot of coffee drinks.
Mocha is two shots of espresso mixed with steamed milk and chocolate syrup and whip cream on top. this can be combined with other syrups for a variation.
Cappuccino is similar to a mocha, but doesn't have the chocolate syrup or whip cream. I like my cappuccino with caramel syrup.
Americano is a shot of espresso watered down to fill a cup.
Latte is a cappuccino without the shot.
the rest of the stuff you see on tv (half caff, no whip, etc) is just variations on what you want.
How to order really depends on where you are, starbucks format goes in order of how they make a drink.

about 1/2 way thru this article explains the order format. the first few times thru, you will feel weird. depending on how busy your local coffee shop is, you can get away ordering out of order.

I like black plain coffee. Sometimes I like one of those iced coffee drinks but generally not. Call me a simpleton. I just like stuff without complication.

the majority of the coffee I drink is plain, drip, black coffee.

Evening gents.. Went to BassPro tonight and spent way more than I expected. Notice a shortage of ammo too. Anyone else run into this?
Fronty Owner
09-27-2009, 01:50 AM
closest bass pro is just a hair over 200 miles north of me...I dont get by there very often.
Ammo shortage doesn't seem as bad at my regular places as it was 6 months ago. Last time I was in Houston, I hit gander mountain. they had plenty of ammo, but I fet it was over priced.
Bass pro isn't an EBR friendly place

How does Gander Mtn. compare to BassPro? Theres one on the way to my sister's house in Nashville that I've always wanted to stop at. Looks to be about the same size?
Fronty Owner

the gander mountain in houston is the only one I have been to. Its bigger than the bass pro in Katy. They both carry the same basic items. Gander mountain has a much larger gun selection.
You might also put buds gun shop on your stop plans if your driving.

I haven't puchased ammo locally since I found ammoman.com, aimsurplus.com, and ammunitiontogo.com ;)
Wifey told me I can't buy any more ammo............................ :(
So I ordered ten 30 round PMags instead. http://deephousepage.com/smilies/rofl5.gif

Tell me you do the same thing I do.... fill the magazines so it looks like you have less ammo on hand than you really do, then order ammo until you get in trouble again...
So far, Ive been lucky and the wife hasn't found the case of #8, case of #7-1/2, case of #6, and case of #4 turkey load, that I have in the back of the closet...

This revelation came about after the fourth shipment of 1000 rnds of .223 hit the step and she had to carry the box in.
When UPS dropped off the new box, she complained "I thought you weren't buying any more ammunition".
I said, "I didn't. THIS is magazines, NOT ammo."...... http://deephousepage.com/smilies/tongueout.gif
What's in the gun vault that she doesn't know about can't hurt me....... ;)

I cant imagine 10 magazine weigh as much as 1000 rounds...
one of these days, she is going to see the inside of that vault.. and oh, are you gonna get it...

WOW I start this, go away for a few days and come back to 4 pages...
I agree maybe a breakrook isnt the best and something more gun related would be better but its a start.
shovel, did you say that to her with a smile on your face or did you say it as you ran away from her to go open your present and avoid and physical contact from her haha... if id have done that with my girl she would have made me sleep on the couch, little does she know that i dont mind it... its kind of like camping.

do we stay with the weekly cycle like DTR or go with a longer cycle due to fewer members and the lack of certain members suffering with constipation of the brain...
