Shovelhead, if there's one thing that tends to make me grit my teeth it's when people that profess to be knowledgeable in the field of firearms refer to detatchable magazines as "clips".

It's really quite a simple concept. A "clip" is used to load a magazine. A "magazine" is used to load a firearm. So don't make the same mistake that the idiots in Hollywood make every day in the movies.

i was told years ago if it has a spring in it is a magazine if not it is a clip. does this not hold true today?
