Just a couple of news articles that may have you wondering this weekend if indeed common sense has taken a leave of absence here in the U.S.A.

This is STILL the same old "get Bush anyway you can" campaign. If the left can't get Bush/Cheney et al directly, they'll start at the bottom of the food chain and try to work upwards. Of course we take the word of a convicted "terrorist" or whatever we're calling them these days, OVER the Bush administration!!

*Detainees Freed in Bermuda Say China Worse Than Gitmo*
FOX News spotted the newly freed detainees at a guest cottage complex on the island without security or electronic monitoring, but their attorney said they will have to periodically check in with local police.

*The Uighurs will be eligible for Bermudian passports in the future, but the U.S. has a mechanism in place to block their entry into the U.S. unless the federal government chooses to let them in.*

Now you have to wonder about this one. First, of course, these Uighurs CLAIM they have NO hard feelings or "grudges" towards the U.S.A., despite being held in our "foreign terrorist" TORTURE prison for how many years. BUT why the need for a "mechanism" that they will NOT be allowed into the U.S. without federal action?? Could it be that BECAUSE we have LAWS on the books that FORBID entrance to the U.S.A. for ANYONE KNOWN to have been involved in ANY terrorist-type activity!!??

I think Uncle Sam needs a shrink!!
