What do you use your guns for?

I use a few for self defense, but the majority i just buy because i want it.
And the main reason i want it is because i don't have it.

I like guns and have more than I need. I end up from time to time selling off a few that don't get used to make room for some new ones. I have a few working guns and some that don't see much use out side the range. So I have guns for just about anything.

I am a compulsive buyer! LOL.. I admit, i have a liking to guns. have a few, I hunt, shoot comp, have CCP, carry a good % of the time.

Too bad the poll wasn't set up to allow multiple choices. The ultimate purpose of several of my guns is self defense, but a most of them get used for plinking and target practice.

Don't competition shoot---use too SASS (Double R-Bar Regulators)

Being on the road it's down to self defense, plinking (when I can) and because I have to have them:D

I voted other because I generally use mine for work. I guess you could put that under self-defense. I don't tend to go shooting much like I did when I was younger, but I would like to. I especially want to get back into skeet shooting. Used to love doing that.

Sorry fellas I guess I should have set it up a little different.

I use mine for all the above except competition like a few others. I would shoot competition but like mentioned before, just another expensive hobby I'm not ready to get into yet.

(right now) I keep a long gun for hunting and various other long distance hobbies! ;)

A semi 22 for fun, plinking, and varmints,

A security 12 gauge, for general purpose blasting, Home D, Clays, birds, and Fun :D

and a polymer semi-auto for home/persoanl Defense and fun! :D

If you shoot IDPA it's not very expensive and most likely everybody here if they own a pistol have one they can shoot IDPA with.

With guns I'm like a chick with shoes. I have them for every occasion.
