It was my early father's day/anniversary present. I really like it. I changed the backstrap to the thinnest one and it just feels perfect. Seems like it has a natural and quick target acquisition. I love the fact that it's so close in the design of the 1911. It's very simple. Super easy field strip (takes about 15 to 20 seconds). Comes with the holster, mag holder, mag loader, 2 mags and 3 backstraps. It's going to be fun pistol to shoot especially since it will hold 20 rounds. Can't wait to shoot! :D

the holster isn't that great. it works at the range, but you will be happier with another, better holster for carry.

It's not perfect, but it'll do until I find one I really like. The mag carrier and holster are really just enough to get you started. I'm thinking a kydex holster would be nice.

I use an uncle mikes IWB for my XD 40SC.
I also have a bianchi holster for OWB carry
I have seen the factory holster used to mount under a desk or headboard of a bed. I have also seen it mounted in vehicles to conceal in the vehicle easily.
There are alot of nice IWB holsters if your going to carry concealed.

IWB - Inside Waist Band
OWB - Outside Waist Band
Supertuck holsters are highly recommended on xdtalk.com

That's the one I've been eyeing. I'm not sure I want to have an IWB holster with this gun. It's not at thin as a 1911 so I'm not sure it would be as comfortable. I want something comfortable while driving long distances since that's when I carry the most. I would like to keep it concealed since people tend to get uncomfortable when they see a gun on your hip.

Like I said, I carry mine IWB.
It also reminds me that Im trying to loose weight. one or two pants sizes is about all the room you need...
