I don't see how it affects his/her ability to run a city. If that's what the voters want, fine by me. :) I look at a candidate's positions on issues I care about when I decide who to vote for, not at their appearance. I'd vote for a gay albino hispanic with a peg leg if he was going to follow what the constitution says instead of what we've been doing for the last 75 years...
