S&w 1006

I've been a huge fan of the 10mm since it's inception, and I bought more than a few handguns in the caliber. Years pass and I made the mistake (aided by divorce) of getting rid of guns I didn't regularily use, so now my only 10mm is a 1006. Problem I have is there just doesn't seem to be any parts available for it anymore. I've been looking for an extended slide stop for 5 years with no luck, and that's just one of the pieces/parts I've wanted. Does anyone have a good line on 1006 parts? I know they can be custom made, but I don't want to shell out that kind of money when I can swap parts and do minor fitting myself.

Try Numrich gun parts. If they don't have it then they might know who would. I wouldn't be surprised if the part you are looking for would also fit a .40 cal gun too.

The 40xx series is a different frame size, shared with the 59xx series 9mm pistols. The 1006 shares frames with the 4506, 1066/4566, and to a lesser degree the 1026/1076. I think there may be a few more as well, but no joy with the smaller S&W autos.

I've used Numrich in the past, but all they carry (at least for the S&W 10mm) is factory replacement parts.
