heres a little story about the savage brand shotgun i purchased....so ive got a 20ga savage springfield model 67 shotgun. I picked it up at a pawnshop, lol i got it for cheap...real cheap.......lol i love it, i think it has the potential to be a great gun. Heres the problem...its plum wore the hell out, who ever had it before me never broke it down to clean it, im sure they cleaned the barrel but I broke it down and it looked like some one had literally spilt a coke on it and let it sit for awhile it. I sprayed it down w/ wd40 just to break all that crap loose, finally i just sprayed the whole the down w/ it let it sit for a bit and did it again i let it half way drip dry, put it back together loaded some shells in it and fired away. The pump doesnt stay inplace, say i have some shells in the magazine tube, and i rack it sure it will load one into the chamber put if i let go of the front grip it will slide back lol, oh another thing, the release lever sometimes works, the safety sometimes works to....anyone know of a good online vendor to buy savage shotgun parts? :D

Check out Numrich gun parts (www.e-gunparts.com). The older Savage (and Nobel) shotguns used a bunch of pot metal, so you may need to get creative with a welder if the parts are worn out and not available for replacement.
