My three main sites (Ammoman, Ammunitiontogo, Aimsurplus) seem to be running extremely low on .223/5.56 ammo again.
Anyone else noticing this?
I need to stock up.......:p

I've less than 2,000 rounds on hand..........
I've been watching the prices on both ARs and ammo shoot through the roof since Election day.
With Obamalama's pick for Atty Gen whispering about using the IRS as a weapon against American citizens and adding HUGE taxes on guns and ammo, it's only gonna get worse.

Ammo has been hard to come by for the last two years. It got a little better during the six months before the election but I think that was because the prices were so high.
Ever thought about reloading? I can reload 223 for about 40% of the cost of factory stuff.

I was in Medford OR over the weekend and went to a local gun shop and a larger Sportsman's Warehouse...
Both were almost completely bare -- no exaggeration-- of rifle and handgun ammo. Shotgun ammo was plentiful though.

Found 1,000 rnds of Wolf Performance .223 62 grain Hollow Point ammo for $318 delivered.
Sad state of affairs that $318 is considered as a GOOD price nowadays.........

Didn't see it listed on their website.
Most of the ammo sites I've used delete the "click-on" for ammo calibers when it's out-of-stock, then put it back when the restock shows up.

**** I remember a few years ago when I went to gun shows with my dad and brother we hated spending 100 bucks on 1,000 round case of sks or 223.

Last 1000 round case of .223 I bought was at the local gun show a few months ago. $330 for brass case 55 gr FMJ. We have another show this weekend, and I'm going Saturday. It will be interesting to see how prices compare.

I went to the gun show, and went straight to the same folks I purchased the .223 from the last time for $330. This time it was $450! I just said thank you very much and walked away. Oh well, I've already got enough that I'd never live thru all of it by myself anyways if the stuff hit the fan.

The DOD has rescinded that order. Used .50 cal and below will still be available for reload.
