I use a Galco Miami Classic when not carrying IWB.
Comfortable, and accessable.
But you WILL need to:
PRACTICE WITH AN UNLOADED GUN and
KEEP YOUR FINGER OUT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD
to master the draw without "muzzle-sweeping" everyone in the room.
I picked mine up used for $100 on a different gun forum.
thanks i will check that out. and i agree with the practice thing. i just think it will be more comfortable and accessable in winter clothes. thanks again

Horizontal or verticle? How well does it conceal? Trying to find one for my P91 and it apears that a universal fit is my only option...

It is kind of hard to conceal a full frame 1911 but it fits into the holster at a slight angle just off vertical.

Chris just duct tapes the 1911 to his chest.
He is a tough Guy.

ooohrah! LOL... I was packin it around today as a matter of fact.
the key to the duct tape is to keep shavin your chest.
That stuff itches like a midget following you around with a tiki torch and even sand paper won't cure this problem. (tell me who said this and you are on top of things!LOL)

My 4 1/2" Commander conceals reasonably well in the horizontal position.
My 3" barreled S-A EMP is practically invisible.

I assume you meant magazines since the .45 does not utilize a stripper clip.

Hi,
Do you have any experiences with shoulder holsters from falcoholsters.com ?
The quality seems to be good. The price is good ... I wanna buy one for my beretta px4 storm. I would like to know your opinions.

Shoulder rigs have their place.
I use my Galco Miami Classic frequently, most when driving on trips.
