I believe that I own a early Winchester Model 12.
On the gun it says Winchester Mod 1912 12 gage, Ser # 115754 it’s a 30" full choke and I would guess that it is about 80-90%. I have shot it and it does not need any parts other then a new kick pad.
Just for grins what would this gun be worth?

I haven't been shopping/pricing shotguns myself lately to give you a good answer, particularly after the elcetion prices. If nobody answers, try comparing prices for similar models on gunbroker.com, then knock off a couple dollars for real-world. The model 12 is a nice one to have though, waiting to get my grandpa's eventually.

I would estimate $400 if you can find the right buyer. The black/high capacity stuff is hotter right now.

Model 12's were "hammerless", 97's had the hammer.

Depending on condition and wear I'd guess $400-$500. Ventilated rib or solid rib guns fetch a little more. Nice wood helps too. The Field versions just got plain walnut, while the trap and skeet versions had figured walnut. I'd hang onto it.

Interestingly enough, it was made the same year my 1897 was!
Check around, but 4-500 is close.
