Since you only posted calibers, not cartridge, Im going 7mm.
Altho, its really a tossup between the 7mm Rem Mag and .30-06.
Both are quite capable of taking anything in the continental US if you do your job.

I see you've added the .338 and the 6.5, so that covers three of my favorites (.338 WinMag, .264 WinMag and 6.5x55 Swede) but you're still missing the all-time, most versatile cartridge in the world (and my personal favorite)

My dad has a .264 Win Mag and absolutely loves it. I must say its pretty impressive. I have a .270 and its done me well. If I had to buy new it would be a 7 Mag

Yep, you guys are right I should have added the 45-70 and 375 HH.. Those two rounds have taken game all over the world... great rounds

Never saw this one. My vote would be for the 30 cal. Been looking into the 30-338 Win Mag/ .308 Norma lately as a get any and all jobs done gun. Particularly with the .338 Lapua pushing $5 a shot. Anybody here have much experience with the 30-338?
