I like black plain coffee. Sometimes I like one of those iced coffee drinks but generally not. Call me a simpleton. I just like stuff without complication.

Evening gents.. Went to BassPro tonight and spent way more than I expected. Notice a shortage of ammo too. Anyone else run into this?

closest bass pro is just a hair over 200 miles north of me...I dont get by there very often.
Ammo shortage doesn't seem as bad at my regular places as it was 6 months ago. Last time I was in Houston, I hit gander mountain. they had plenty of ammo, but I fet it was over priced.
Bass pro isn't an EBR friendly place

How does Gander Mtn. compare to BassPro? Theres one on the way to my sister's house in Nashville that I've always wanted to stop at. Looks to be about the same size?

the gander mountain in houston is the only one I have been to. Its bigger than the bass pro in Katy. They both carry the same basic items. Gander mountain has a much larger gun selection.
You might also put buds gun shop on your stop plans if your driving.

Lexington KY. Maybe 50 miles out of your way looking at google maps from Cincinnati, OH to Nashville, TN

I haven't puchased ammo locally since I found ammoman.com, aimsurplus.com, and ammunitiontogo.com

Wifey told me I can't buy any more ammo............................
So I ordered ten 30 round PMags instead.

Tell me you do the same thing I do.... fill the magazines so it looks like you have less ammo on hand than you really do, then order ammo until you get in trouble again...
So far, Ive been lucky and the wife hasn't found the case of #8, case of #7-1/2, case of #6, and case of #4 turkey load, that I have in the back of the closet...
