Community service

I know that everyone is tired of Obama posts, at least I am, but I was wondering what you thought about his idea of community service? Some have a negative opinion of it but I was thinking of turning it into something positive, even if he doesn't like it.

Here is my thought. Would carrying a firearm for self protection be an act of community service? Anywhere in the US, the communities are safer because they have a concealed weapons law that allows you to conceal a firearm if you qualify.

Your thoughts?

I think it should be a form of community service. Then again, what do I know.

I'm all for it, even if I don't get any recognition for my "contribution".
