I pref.Winchester bonded but, that is just a personal opinion.I feel that the minute differences between the various rounds are not that important. However,my "defense"loads are the same weight as my practice rounds so all feels right and no surprises when needed.Just my$ 02.75 worth.

I try to buy the defensive round with the best "stopping" power, I then reload to match the defensive round ( or use to). I was surprised to learn the lighter load of the 9mm Hydra-Shock (wife's peference) actually had better rating for stopping than did the heavier round (Shooting Times).

I will assume you meant to say LEO's. Most LEO's I know have to carry their Departments chosen round ( or be fired). I know around here that means no +P rounds or hollow points. Chosen by bureaucrats to cover their rumps, and not save an officers rump. Therefore, I'll go with the independent research that is not so namby pamby. I like one shot one kill.....in four legged animals or two.
