CWP for military

I have been told that I can get a free CWP in the state of SC because I am military... but can't find any info on it.

???

Cool if true.

Try calling (803) 737-9000, that is supposed to be the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, P.O. Box 21398, Columbia, SC 29221 this is the contact point from "Traveler's Guide to the Firearm Laws of the Fifty States".

These people should be able to give you the right direction to go.

I know that in WA I still had to apply and pay the fees when I got my first one here back in the 1980s. Needless to say I had to pay when I returned to WA this time around.
