Dan Wesson CBOB

Anyone have any experience with a Wesson .45 CBOB? I've been reading lots of good things about them. The only down side is trying to find one at a decent price.

DW CBOB is great from what I have heard. But it's going to be really hard to find now since it's been discontinued for 2010. Keep an eye out on Gunbroker. But don't expect a decent price though.

I really like my CBOB but my wife "stole" it and carries in a Crossbreed Supertuck.

I was able to pick mine up used for a really good price a few years ago but they have really caught on and you rarely see a used one. The fit and finish is really impressive for the price.

Actually the CBOB is being replaced by the VBOB with improvements that include more machined parts and a forged frame. http://cz-usa.com/products/view/dan-wesson-v-bob/

Yes, at an increase in price, but you are getting improved parts as well. Probably not enough difference in quality for the average Joe to tell but still better stuff. I wouldn't put mine up against a $2400 Ed Brown but the differences are so small that only a pro would notice.
