Dan Wesson CBOB
Anyone have any experience with a Wesson .45 CBOB? I've been reading lots of good things about them. The only down side is trying to find one at a decent price.

DW CBOB is great from what I have heard. But it's going to be really hard to find now since it's been discontinued for 2010. Keep an eye out on Gunbroker. But don't expect a decent price though.

I really like my CBOB but my wife "stole" it and carries in a Crossbreed Supertuck.
I was able to pick mine up used for a really good price a few years ago but they have really caught on and you rarely see a used one. The fit and finish is really impressive for the price. ![]() Quote:

The replacement also comes at a pretty steep price increase--IMO. Thanks for the pictures--I just drooled all over my keyboard!!!!!!!

Yes, at an increase in price, but you are getting improved parts as well. Probably not enough difference in quality for the average Joe to tell but still better stuff. I wouldn't put mine up against a $2400 Ed Brown but the differences are so small that only a pro would notice. |
