Does anyone like rimfires?
This year my boys and I have been on a rimfire kick. Maybe "addiction" is a better word.
 Sako has a newer rifle called the "quad" It is an interchangable barrel type action so you can have all 4 popular calibers in one rifle. Here are a few photos:     Our safe is packed with these things. They shoot very well. Accurate. The 4 barrel sets range from 1300-1900 bucks and the single barrel sets can be had for under 500 in some stores.

Man those are really nice. I love rimfires. Where else can you get 1100 rounds of ammo for under 25 bucks. (Remington Golden Bullets 550cnt loose box).
I have purt near worn out my moms Nylon 66 from all the years of shooting, and Im dead set on trying to wear out my Marlin 39A.

I put a few rounds thru my Glenfield "Golden 50" occationally.
get out and practice trigger control, ballistic drop, windage, they are great. Once your done on the range, a box of cci stingers and an open field is an afternoon blast. snipe rabbits, call up a yote, what ever...

One of my favorite target shooting excersizes is to hang a bunch of skeet on the cypress knees in the swamp and have at it. Gets a little challenging for open site .22 over 150 yards.

Very nice looking set there, Don. Very nice.
Yes, most of my shooting is done with rimfire for cost reasons. Like the post above is saying, it gives on the chance to practice trigger control, breath control, cheek weld and etc on the cheap. Then when really getting to the nitty-gritty on the more expensive stuff, like my .300 Weatherbys at $50-65 a box, you don't have to shoot nearly as much of that to be proficient.

Yep, I like rimfires. Dang ammo is hard to come by right now.  We have a couple 10/22's, JC Higgins, Winchesters.... My 10/22 in rabbit mode:

Love them, have 4 or 5 myself, have to get some pic's in here. Have 4 Ruger 1022's in various statges of customization, mostly just the norm, bull barrels, kidd trigger, my own trigger builds, now I need to go squirrel hunting.
