From DTR, new to this site

Hey All! I'm normally on DTR, decided to see what this was all about since I kept seeing the links to it on DTR. Saw a post while checking this site out, stating that the Janitors coffee isn't allowed here becasue it cause the guns to rust. Just picked up a new Remington 870 Express for home protection and clay shooting. Looking to buy more guns.

Welcome 3/4!
Alot of the DTR folk are over here as well.

An 870 express is a great gun to have around. they are cheap, reliable and have plenty of aftermarket support if needed. But like most things there will be some that will say otherwise.

Glad you could join the party. Guns and trucks go together like Country and Western, and most of this site's members are also DTR members. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Glad to be here! I've already had it apart a few times since i bought it. Pretty easy to maintain from the looks of it. Too big for the GF to shoot though, her arms are short and has a hard time handling the gun. Gonna have to get her a youth model remington. Found a few things for my 870 I would like to buy. Hope it doesn't become as expensive as owning a diesel and modding it LOL ! At least an 870 doesn't have a VP44 or 47re otherwise I'd be screwed.

Very glad to be here too, good to see some familiar names here. Got all my paper work and am very legal. Wanted to go shoot this weekend but it's rainy and cold here.

Just curious does the Janitor reside here too?

They can be relatively cheap or very expensive depending on what you want to do. Either way it's a very user friendly weapon to use and work on.
