I have been collecting guns for 40+ years. A friend of mine talked me into starting a website to tell about what it took to build each one of my guns. I took some of them out of one gun safe and the memories came flooding out. I got a little teary eyed looking at them, and all the love that went into building them. I took photo's of them so I could post them on the internet. I have wrote some articles on some of the guns for the site. I found a lot of humor went along with building them. I am not a writer, I just tell what went into building them.
Now I have run up against a problem. I do a lot of research on guns of all types. I have used forums for a lot of research and add replies as I can help. I love teaching people about guns.
I have written some articles about things people want to know about. Sometimes I add a link to my site, when it is helpful. Some of the forums have no problem with it. Some of the forums moderaters have notified me that it is not allowed, they think I am spamming. I thought forums were for info exchange and sociallizing. I have a lot of info, and guns to share. I would respectfully like to know what you, using this forum think.

If you are indeed spamming then you will find the need to link to another forum or other website every chance you get so you can display your advertising...if you are just here to share information then you will have no problem simply copying and pasting info you wish to share here, like non spammers do all the time
