Glock Fans

Seems to me that everybody on here hates glocks. I'm not sure why because I love mine. Just curious if there is anybody else here that loves their glock?

Bingo. I love mine. I don't carry it because it pretty or it's slim line design.
I carry it because you can throw it in the sand box, the creek, or drop it off a cliff etc.. and still use it.
Shiny turbos and guns don't impress me.

What concerns me most when having a gun is that it goes BOOM when I pull the trigger. Glock has an excellent reputation for reliability.

There are a few things I don't care for on a Glock but they are fine guns, the G17 probably being one of the best 9mm's ever made. They really shine as a combat handgun.

Mountaineer- I won't be dragging my guns through a creek or dropping them off a cliff so I guess I won't need that feature.

They have one heckuva marketing dept - Glock "Perfection."
There are some of their models to have known imperfections but like I said, the G17 is a known good gun.

Never know when you might be out coon hunting and fall in a creek or something along that line. Then when the cyote's decide to come out you've got something to fight back with. Good to know the secondary gun is ready to rock.

The only issue I have against glock is the angle of the grip to the barrel. The grip is raked back more than I like.
Held one, foldeled one, hadn't shot one, the gun just didn't point right to me.

I own a few Glocks and they have their place. For a general overall firearm they are pretty hard to beat. I have firearms that are better for their intended purpose.

I've never been able to decide on if I could only have one hand gun what it would be. Glock is always in the running.

The problem with America is stupidity. I’m not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but why don’t we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
