Good evening from Las Vegas
Hi, all. Just thought I'd drop in and introduce myself to all the existing members of the board. I'm a Las Vegas resident (no, I don't gamble...used to work for a company that made slot machines and I'm lousy at cards) and I'm an avid shooter. I'm an old phart so I've been around for a while and have seen a lot of changes in this country of ours. In 1959, when I was 9 years old, I saw 2 new stars added to Old Glory...one for Alaska and one for Hawaii. I lived for many years in the People's Republik of Kalifornia but vacated that socialist paradise many, many years ago.
I work for a government contractor and hold a Top Secret security clearance. So if I tell you about my job, I'll have to kill you. I don't have a large collection of guns (yet) but I'm continuously adding to it. Sig Sauer P226 -- .40 cal Walther PPK -- .40 cal Beretta PX4 Storm -- 9mm Sterling Mark II -- .380 cal Colt AR-15 -- 5.56 cal AK-47 2 Mosin-Nagants -- 1933 hex receiver (Izhevsk arsenal) and 1942 round receiver (Tula arsenal) Romanian PSL And now that Clark County has opened up the public shooting range closer to my apartment, I can take more time to go out and practice with my rifles, including sighting in the scope for my newest acquisition, the Romanian PSL. I had some trouble getting the scope mount to slide onto the weapon. I found a burr on the slides on the weapon so I used one of my jewelers' files to remove it. |

I have a correction to make. For some reason, I've got James Bond on the mind. My Walther is a PPS, NOT a PPK.
