If there's a good side to that homework, let it be the fact that the Daughter drew the picture and not mommy's son.

I'm sure it does really happen. I would hate it for the kid that brought that picture to school.

From what I understand when that picture started circulating a few years ago, "Mommy" is actually a clerk at Home Depot and was selling a shovel.

While we were still living in Colorado Springs my son used to draw pictures of me shooting people. His teacher asked him about it and he said "This is what my daddy does at work. He shoots people at night". Teacher was nice enough to send home a note asking what I did for a living, and it got straightened out pretty quickly, but that could have snowballed, especially if I lived in Denver or Boulder.

Goes to show things may not always be what they may seem, and a child's perspective of adult life may be hugely skewed by a few seemingly minor details.

I guess if the explination was there, yeah it could be a snow shovel and prospective buyers.
But any male looking at that picture by its self would automatically think Pole and Stage. Most females probably would too. As stated before, sadly that's the state of today's society.

Not quite I explained what I did for the Air Force and at that time I was riding a desk, so the question of carrying a gun and officer/perp interaction never came up. Fortunately he's a bit older now, so his artwork isn't quite as open to interpretation
