Hey everybody! I kept clickin and peckin from DTR till I got here....lol. Glad to find this place. I've had some type of gun all my life, even though I'm not a hunter. My wife & I recently took our concealed carry class and sent our paperwork off, and hopefully our permits will come soon. We're both excited about learning to shoot better, and it's something we think we will enjoy together. I'll probably just do a lot of reading here, like I do at TDR. I will probably also ask a dumb question every now and then....lol. I stumbled into a good deal on a pre ban Colt AR15 a while back, and snapped it up. It's in great shape for an older gun. I've also got a Charles Daly home defense 12 gauge, and a Marlin 22 semi automatic tube fed rifle. I haven't decided what type gun concealed carry weapon I want yet. I'm thinking some type of 9mm and/or a 380. My wife is pretty much set on a Walther P22. She has shot a friend of ours P22, and can drive tacks with the dang thing! I'd like to get a 1911 model pistol in 45 cal. I'll see y'all around here, TDR, or Moparts.com.

the oldest being a Glenfield "Golden 50" .22 LR that was manufactured the month and year I was born. It became mine when I was 8 or 9...
