I'll start

Nothing like the smell (and taste) of black powder in the mornin', smells like victory. (my translation)
I'm not talking about the new fangled stuff.

Don't know why I haven't gotten around to it yet, but always wanted a Remington New Model Army '58 replica (or the real thing).

I need to get out of the house more... I've never wanted to shoot anything older than a Gov 45-70

A Remington revolver clone is on my wish list. I like the look of them better than the Colt style, the open top frame just looks odd to me. My brother has one, and a Confederate Navy clone as well. They are lots of fun to shoot, and they keep you busy at the range for a lot longer than a cartridge gun.

Yeah, I was even just looking into a .45LC conversion. It'd really be nice to get one that'll shoot jacketed ammo to carry around. I'm still kicking myself for getting rid of my '09 peacemaker. Sell some guns for a woman and she walks anyway....

I picked one up last March at Timonium Gun Show, haven't shot it yet. The guy said he got tight groups @50 yds with a .454 dia ball and 32grains FFF. Also plan getting a 45LC conversion next yr. to have both options.

I have an older 1858 Rem New Army... I agree, couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle with that thing... but it is fun. A lot of maintenance though. My wife thinks it kicks to much... HA... little does she know.

I had a Remington 44 (1858) that I enjoyed but after moving to the MidWest, I found it a challenge to keep rust free.
Yes, I cleaned it religiously but found that I had to bathe it in oil and keep it in a bag (bathed in oil) while not in use.
This, of course, meant I had to clean before and after use.
