Marlin 795 .22 LR

I got a Cabelas flyer the other day and on one of the pages they have a Marlin 795 (black stock and blued finish) listed for $99 .

So I have been thinking of buying one. I have never owned a 22. My dad had a Marlin 60 that I enjoyed shooting/plinking with. But I don't know how that compares to the 795.

Anyone own/shoot a 795? Think it's a good buy for $99?

I haven't shot or handled a 795 so I can't speak of the quality. I can say, $100 isn't gonna be the finest rifle on the market. I have heard rumors that the magazine that marlin uses isn't very robust. but again, no personal experience.
The going price on a Model 60 in wood is about $200, $175 for synthetic.
