Mine paid for itself.

Had my license over two years now, About a six months ago i had a back steriod shot and my wife took me to the hospital. They sedated me and done the shot and let me go. The wife had to drive.

Well i was still sedated and was hungry cause i couldn't eat for a while. I ask her to pull in this wendys and she went in to get the food. I waited in the truck. She came out and i seen this guy coming at her so i pulled the pistol out and layed it in my lap.

She got to the truck and this dude ask her for money. She told him she didn't have any on her, He said with a stern voice "Give me some money" I showed him the pistol and said you better go. He looked at me crazy for a few seconds and decided to leave. I was sure glad he did, i was still reeling from the drugs.

I am thouroughly convinced if i didn't have my gun he would have done something. I sure wasn't in no condition to help her either. So i thank god i got my license and to me it has paid for itself as long as i live. We have to renew them every five years and you can bet i will be first in line to do it.
