New but not new but really new

Hello all from the great state of Oklahoma. I know the title is strange but it is true. I was never raised around guns even though I have just found out probably 75% of my family have them. I moved to North Dakota in 2005 and tried my hand at hunting first gun was a rifle ( Savage 111 in 30.06 ) . Had someone show me a couple of basics and a simple hunters safety course but the rest I learned on my own. In early 2007 I got my first handgun S&W SW9VE used just a portion of the hunter safety course but again everything else I have learned on my own. Ended up having to sell those guns so I could get back home to Oklahoma. Then early this year got the first of the 2 guns I have now. So in a lot of areas I am still very much a newbie but I am trying to learn what I can. So if I sound like I don't know what I am talking about you very well could be right. So I hope you will bear with me on my journey to learn what I can. With me you get what you see ( or don't see ) good , bad or even worse bad jokes . But I promise I am only me.
