Newbie!

Hi guys, just purchased my first pistol, with license of course. I'm new to everything, new to gun laws and forums and new to having a pistol. I just found it necessary to have one, for my safety. I'm hoping to learn a lot from this forum.

Welcome Aia30.
Don`t be afraid to jump in here and ask for help, or anything else. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on this board.
Where do you shoot in LA?

Thanks!

@davemac: I haven't really gotten much to it, but I was thinking of the LAX Firing Range. I have been having lessons with a friend about the basics but in case I find myself in trouble I'd still probably grab my pepper spray. Just kidding. @Fronty Owner: Thanks! I got myself a snub nose .38 Ruger revolver. It's a real beauty and besides, it's very compact. Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
