Nylon vs. Leather vs. Kydex

Nylon, Leather, and Kydex seem to be the things to have holsters made of. What are the differences? What makes one better than the others and how do they compare? What would you use and prefer and why?
All of these holsters look good. How can you tell what to get?

Nylon is a cloth. Usually sewn to the pattern of the gun sometimes with an internal kydex frame. advantage is, its cheaper than leather and softer than kydex.
Kydex is cheap to mold, can be made tighter to the gun making it more secure. can scratch and wear the finish on some guns.
Leather is more traditional than nylon and similar in uses. Feels better against the skin.
