Paint or no paint
Ive been looking at pictures of various firearms. Im being tempted to paint one of my guns.
All my firearms (except a pair of .22LRs) are black synthetics. I have painted the furniture on my maverick, but none of the metal. Im thinking about either painting my savage 7mm RM or repainting the maverick. should I? what colors?

A lot of info for applying duracoat on AR15.com. I haven't tried yet. Thought about doing up a white AR upper for winter.

Ted Kennedy's car killed more people than my gun.

yea, I have been thru some of their picture threads. some nice color combinations, even in a classic solids.

There are a few spots I can pick out where I goofed, but they aren't bad. FDE and Coyote goes together nicely. The barrel didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but the pine tree branch I was using as a template doesn't leave a lot of impression on the narrow round stuff..
