I see nothing wrong with what she did.

Personally I would not open carry at my kid's soccer game but if she feels it is necessary then more power to her.

So if one person open carries at the kids ball game it's not smart. What if 100 people open carried at the kids ball game would that make it alright?

I would almost bet money that there is a reason she is wearing on her hip and the "news" does not want to cover that aspect of it.

I think someone is bothering her and this is her way of saying "****-off, or else". She could be in fear for her safety and what better deterrent than wearing iron on your hip?

How about the right to concealed carry in VA except where liquor is sold, in a bank, in a school, etc. If it is our Constitutional right, why is it restricted? I feel that there should not be any conditions once you have been checked by a criminal background investigation. I also believe that if It has been demonstrated that I can legally and morally carry concealed in my state then I should be able to carry it across state lines including Maryland, Mass. and other non friendly states. The same Constitution governs all the states. None should be different in this ruling. WOW, I haven't gotten on my soap box in quite awhile. It sure feels good!

You CAN carry in Virginia where liquor is sold (ABC store, local 7-11, Stop-N-Rob, etc.) ,
you just can't "Carry" concealed where you can drink it. (restaurant, pub, etc.)
Virginia requires you to "Open-Carry" in an establishment that sells alcohol by the drink.
I remember after one of our Va Chapter "Appliance Recycling Events, Joel open carried his 1911 in a shoulder rig into Hooters.....and no one seemed to care.

As for a bank, there is no VA state law prohibiting it unless it's posted on the door by the bank.

Schools, ..you can carry into the driveway area of a school in VA if you stay in your car and if you have a valid CHP.

I agree, that restrictions are bogus, but I'm hoping that McDonnell will win the state house this election and overturn the restaurant ban......for a start.

Oklahoma is a concealed only state.
You can carry into restaraunts as long as alcohol isn't their primary business.
Banks, federal, state, local government buildings or offices are off limits.
Schools are ok as long as you dont get out of your car.

I realize more than most that we are getting older but, I sat at the same table I think???

Isn't it about time for another shoot??? How about in the spring? The backstop is still there only by now it is well ventilated. OOPS! I think I just hijacked a thread......SORRY!!!!!!

Most night clubs that I visited in my youth wouldn't even allow a pen knife past the door. I got "escorted" to the door for just having a Buck folder on my hip.
