Hey Dave, I have a box of 00 buck, but how do I know if it's 9 ball? Break one open and count?
Thanks,

Reduced recoil slug in my Mossberg 500A w/pistol grip. A lot less damage to the house than pellets flying every where (wouldn't want to damage the TV or the leather recliner).

00 Buck because I'm going to take out what they're riding in too.
My Bennelli holds 9ea. 2-3/4" shells.

That'd work. The only reason I know mine is 9 ball is because it says so on the box.

Billet why don't you shoot it on paper and count the holes. That way you can see how many pellets and check the pattern.

Red,

You got the ammo in the side upside down. Stick them in from the bottom and you can pull them out from underneath with out a hassle.

Or maybe the slugs go in upside down and the buck shot in right side up to differentiate in feel during a lights out tactical reload.
