If you find signatures that go to questionable sites, get rid of them. I'm done with trying to pm each one of them to get a feel for what they are doing. I think it's just easier to get rid of them and if they are legit, they will get ****** and email me or something. If that's the case, I will let them back on.

thats probably the easiest way.

As long as forums have been around, everyone knows the etiquette that is generally expected. For the most part, you don't join a forum and link to sales sites unless your paying for it. there aren't any forums that I have seen that allow that.

Spammers are a pain, I am a moderator on another site and even though we have software to remove them, Thet still get through. Worst are the ones that make a post on every forum and several threads. Luckily the moderator has a delete post button that seeks all spam out and gets rid of them easily instead of going through the whole site and finding them individually..

They plain suck.. Last year on another one of my sites, the guy got through and looked normal. Well in about 2 hours, he had pm'ed about 300 of my users before I finally got the ban hammer out on him. It pee'd me off because he went through the pm system and he made it look like it was coming from me. the guy was cunning but got a lot of complaints really quick and thank goodness the members knew that it was a spammer and didn't click on any of the links he posted.
