Are there any 3 gun shooters here?

Just wondering if there are any 3 gun shooters here and if so what are you using for your guns?

What's the farthest distance you guys shoot?

You are referring to the newer 3 gun using rifle, pistol, and shotgun?

I used to shoot NRA 3 gun of the type shot at Camp Perry, OH. All pistol, a .22 cal, a center fire (normally .45 ACP wadcutter), and .45

I did it once and it was a blast. I have since purchased all the equipment and need to set some time aside to do it.

http://www.3gunmatch.com/

the administrator of a gun-forum asking what 3 gun is...

basically its a shooting competition involving all three types of firearm (pistol, rifle, and shotgun)
SASS does it with old west style firearm,
tactical uses military style firearms.

some use 1 type of firearm only in a stage, some use multiples types (say 10 plates with a pistol, a couple poppers with flyers for the shotgun, followed with some long range rifle shots.
