Time to change tactics in the gun control arena.

Rather than work at stopping them we need to push them through...

AFTER we stick a poison pill into them. This is a simple thing to do if I am right. Every bill that gets brought to the floor gets amendments attached to it in the hopes of killing the bill or passing on some pork.

We just need to get our supporters to start attaching amendments that will have an impact on the press/media. This would be something along the lines of REQUIRING the media to post FACTS and not opinions. This way when one of them states for example "we need to close the gun show loophole" they must prove that this so-called loophole exists and is actually a source of guns for criminals and terrorists.

When the media sees this they will start screaming as they do not want to confuse the issues with facts. This is evident in any political campaign or anti-gun bill.

We need to stop being on the defense and move to the offense! Gun owners know that once the 2nd is gone the rest will follow quickly.

Isn't there a gun control bill on the floor now? Maybe if we sneak in an amendment to criminalize abortion or cut funding to schools that drop the pledge of allegiance.....

Stand firm and buy what you want/need while you can. It's harder for 'em to come and take it than it is for them to stop you from buying it.
