I shoot trap 3 or 4 times a year and went last weekend as a matter of fact. I am not that great at it, usually hit 18 of 25.

A good friend of mine really likes to shoot trap. He has some nice trap shotguns.

I used to shoot competitively about 18yrs ago... I was the club's unofficial "custer" champ. Regular trap shooting though I was average at best.

I shot competition skeet from '96-'03. Won a few local and State tournaments and was working my way towards an appointment with the Air Force Skeet team when I went to Korea for a year, and just haven't really picked it back up. I'm wondering if the scene has changed much in the past six years. When I used to shoot, it was as much about having fun with friends and enjoying life as it was about the competition. I shot trap for a few years as well, but it just seemed stuffy, too rigid and stiff. Didn't seem like the same atmosphere as a skeet range, and I prefer to have fun. Guess I'll actually have to go back to the range and see what's been happening.
