Why is it? Free for all

With apologies to the Mods for getting the Lunar thread off track, I figured I had better create one to meander around and answer questions.

Therefore, I respectfully ask the following, feel free to ask your own within this thread, or answer them if you can.

Why is it that,

1.) We can use a single case to prove the need for a law, but get excoriated for using a single case to contest it? ( Specifically in the Health care issue )

2.) Why is it that those of us who have read points of the proposed law are obstructionist, but those who have NOT read the law, and admit to not knowing the details are free to push said law?

There will be more random questions popping in my head as time goes by, hope some pop into yours as well.........
